Aruba Aloe
Pay a visit to the Aruba Aloe Museum, Factory, and Store on-site in Hato, Aruba – just minutes away from the hotel area. Their Museum and Factory complimentary tour is led by a team of local Aruba Aloe tour guides. Tours are held in English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento (Aruba’s native language) every 15 minutes. Their Museum and Tours are open from 8am to 4:30pm on Mondays to Fridays. The last Tour begins at approximately 4pm. On Saturdays, the Museum and Tours are open from 9am to 5:00pm and on Sundays from 9am to 1:00pm.
One can also choose to tour the Museum independently. An 11-minute audiovisual presentation on the History behind the Aruba Aloe brand is showcased. You will also see archived past Aruba Aloe products in their retro packaging, along with artifacts and processes behind the making of Aloe-based skin care. A brief historical tour tells a visual story of the domestication of the Aloe plant, and how this shaped the beginning of an agricultural way of life.
Tours are held every 15 minutes. You’ll see exactly how our aloe is ‘fileted’ and learn the many benefits of Aloe Vera-ingested or as a topical agent! Afterwards take a walking tour (easy on the legs, we promise!) of our Factory facilities. You’ll see the many areas that make up our facility-the aloe cutting room, the testing lab, the filling room, even packing and storage.
