Where’s The Party?
Aruba’s bar and club culture is dynamic and diverse, and you need not wait for the sun to set to embrace the party spirit. Follow our lead to find “Where’s The Party?” – day and night.
Get into the spirit early!
Palm Beach & Noord -something for every party style
Snag the ideal spot to catch the sunset with celebratory cocktails before heading out at Hilton’s Mira Solo Bar, then after an excellent sundown view, stop into The Casino Aruba at Hilton to kick the night off in high style. Or, for another sophisticated escape, head for The Ritz- Carlton Aruba’s Divi Lounge seafront terrace for their sunset cocktail ritual. The Casino at The Ritz-Carlton upstairs boasts the same elevated vibe. The Stellaris Casino right next door is a very cool place to try your luck, too.
Now it’s time to hit “The Strip”. Over a mile of establishments side-by-side across from the high- rise resorts are waiting to fulfill your after dark desires. Follow your ears to find your preferred party style. Maybe a piano sing-along, karaoke, salsa dancing, techno, Caribbean music? It’s all there.
Hot and tired? Take a cool break at Liv Casino in the Barceló resort to win more funds for your next bar tab. Then veer off the strip to find Brutto Aruba’s uber trendy spot for exotic cocktails, gourmet bites, and DJ-driven mood music. Afterward, join the beautiful people at The Office next door, it’s the island’s hottest late-night dance emporium. Or for hardcore partying, head to Saloon Bar Aruba for live music, Texas-sized drinks, and dancing on the bar!
Off the strip is Bingo Cafe Restaurant for authentic Dutch snacks, cold beer, and sports watching, and Quinta del Carmen’s mansion, also a short drive away, boasts a romantic cocktail garden with twinkling lights.
Eagle Beach-easy going evenings
The “low-rise” region is laid back, but the courtyard around the famous red windmill now offers some interesting nightlife choices. Seek out Rich’s Arubian Dish & Caribbean Delight for sports on big screens, lively happy hours, and sometimes karaoke! And happy hours are postcard perfect at the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort’s Horizons Lounge where soft live music and creative cocktails are framed by glorious oversea sunsets. And you’ll find live music every night at alfresco Alhambra Mall.
Downtown dazzles after dark
Start by finding the unique party emporium made entirely of old shipping containers called Bochincha Entertainment for hip bars, food truck style eateries, musical theme nights, and all kinds of alfresco nighttime revelry. Lady Luck also awaits downtown with two glitzy casinos within easy walking distance from each other. Wind Creek Crystal Casino offers 24-hour action, live music, and their lounge offers light snacks and cocktails until 6am! Their sister spot Wind Creek Seaport Casino offers races and sports betting, too. Also, around the marina you’ll find The Paddock, a legendary rowdy watering hole frequented by Dutch expats.
If you sleuth out Alfie’s in Aruba behind the Renaissance Mall, you’re bound to find great live bands most nights, but there’s always live music in the Renaissance Marketplace on their public stage. Some spots there also have their own entertainment like Cuba’s Cookin’ with live Latin music seven nights a week and the best mojitos in town. Or head to The West Deck Island Grill and Beach Bar nearby for DJ-driven music, big buckets of cold beer, and creative craft cocktails.
Cheers!
Take the party on the road, or out to the outback…
Hop aboard the Banana Adventure’s party bus for rollicking barhopping on wheels and fun-loving hosts. And Kukoo Kunuku offers a wide range of party bus tours, too. Or how about dancing in the outback? Mi Dushi Casibari is a new bar and restaurant that rocks the famous Casibari Rock Formations after dark with live bands and DJs and a huge outdoor dance floor. It’s a unique Aruba nightlife experience, and locals love it, too. •
