• When a user signs up to receive marketing information;

A significant amount of personal information is primarily collected by Island Guide. However, because the information resides on our database we technically “collect” it, although we would not typically access or analyze it. This information could include a range of information as selected by Island Guide, such as names, dates of birth, address, phone number, location information, private pictures, private personal notes, and other information as selected by Island Guide.

OTHER TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information on visitors to the Website, including information on which areas of the Website are most often accessed and how long visitors visit those areas.

We collect information from the App and your use of it, including information to assist us to identify the device upon which you use the App, such as your device’s IP address, operating system and your email addresses, location-based data, searches and other information you may input into or access from the App and/or Club App.

We may utilize “cookies” which enable us to monitor traffic patterns and to serve you more efficiently if you revisit the Website. A cookie does not identify you personally but it does identify your computer. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

ABC Tours 

Their cancellation policy is designed to be as accommodating as possible. However, depending on when you cancel your tour, certain fees may apply:

 

24 hours or less

If you cancel 24 hours or less before your tour, no refund will be provided. You have the option to change the date of your tour, subject to availability.

 

48 hours 

If you cancel 48 hours or less before your tour, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply. Alternatively, you can change the date of your tour, subject to availability.

 

96 hours 

If you cancel more than 96 hours ahead of your tour, you are eligible for a full refund.

We're committed to minimizing any penalties for changing plans, so we don't charge a fee for changing the date of your tour. However, please note that all tours are subject to availability.

 

If you're entitled to a refund, please note that it may take up to 30 business days to process. We can only issue refunds to the original payment method used for the booking.

 

Cancellation policy varies for groups:

•          From seven calendar days from the activity, no fee is charged.

•          From seven calendar days to 48 hours from activity, a 50% fee is charged.

•          Within 48 hours of the activity date, full payment is charged.

Pelican Adventures  

A full refund without penalty shall be given if tour or activity is canceled at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled start of your tour or activity. No refunds for cancellations inside of 72-hours. If you miss the tour because of not being on time for excursion, no refund will be issued. Pelican Adventures reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any tour. If we are unable to substitute your purchased tour, a full refund will be provided. If tour is cancelled by Pelican Adventures, Pelican Adventures will substitute the original activity with one of at least equal value as the one being cancelled or substituted.

Cancellation is possible only 48 hours before the scheduled date and time. Any cancellation within 48 hours before the booked date and time is considered a default on your part, which results in a no-claim of the fee that you have agreed to pay in full. Only cancellations within 48 hours with proof of force majeure, medical proof of sickness, or injuries may be accepted. First, they will try to reschedule the tour in case it cannot go through due to any of the reasons mentioned above. If rescheduling is not possible and all conditions of the cancellation policy are met, you will receive a full refund.
